The Adeventures Of A Lost Duck

As a parent I have always wanted my children to be creative and come up with interesting ideas. However, I don't know if this is exactly what I had in mind :)

My youngest daughter is Kaitlyn. She loves musical theatre, drama and wild outfits. So she is the creative type. It was April 2009 and my daughter and a friend were stopping at a convenient store when they found this:

If you look close you should see a little duck. Security photos reveal something horrible:

ohhh no, a crazy woman driver is about to...

Ohhhh the horror! look away now before it is too late!

Underneath that tire lies the flattened body of the duck!

But wait! The duck was still alive!

Quick! Something must be done to save its life. There is not a hospital anywhere near here! What should we do?

Maybe Burger King can help!

Quickly my dauther and her friend rushed the injured duck inside Burger King. First aid was administered.

The duck lives! He survived the tramatic experience!

Now that the duck was given a second chance to live, he was not going to waste a second. In fact, he was going to live like he was dying!

So he set out on a great adventure.

First off, let's catch a baseball game!

The duck decided to go make some new animal friends:

Hi, hello, what is your name? You don't say much do you?

Making friends can be hard - let's look somewhere else:

I hear cows are nice:

Cows are hard to understand, I am glad Kaitlyn can translate!

I want to see the world! So let's catch a flight:

It is so cold out here! I wish I could ride inside!

That is much better!

Now let's see where we have landed:

Rome! this should be fun:

Wow, I am tired! Time to go back home:

Thanks for reading about my adventures...more to come soon!

You should talk to Cassie about duckies. Wow. Is this a thespian thing?

With a puzzled but intrigued scratch on his head with eyebrow raised and subtle grin...he says, "I will...figure this out...this makes sense, and...I will find it..."

Is Dyess the duck saved? If so does he subscribe to the London Baptist Confession of 1689. It was very nice of your daughter to help the duck, do you know it is a fake duck?

Notice the duck was hanging out at the Vatican. I don't think he really likes reformed theology. His next trip is to California so we will have to see what happens. I can't believe you thin k the duck is fake! I will ensure he does not read your comments :)
