Christ's Humiliation Part 2
Good morning everyone. I am teaching through the Puritan Catechism at Victory Baptist Church which is located in Ovalo, TX. For those who have no idea where Ovalo is, it is located about 20 minutes south of Abilene, TX.
We have been working on question 26 of the Catechism:
Q. Wherein did Christ's humiliation consist?
A. Christ's humiliation consisted in his being born, and that in a low condition (Lk. 2:7), made under the law (Gal. 4:4), undergoing the miseries of this life (Isa. 53:3), the wrath of God (Matt. 27:46), and the cursed death of the cross; (Phil. 2:8) in being buried, and continuing under the power of death for a time (Matt. 12:40).
