Charismatic Flop...False Hope Again!
It's so sad when false prophets/healers promise hurting people instant healing against what Scripture teaches...what a sham!
This is where we Focus in On The News through the Lens of Scripture! 1 Thessalonians 5:21 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; Examine is taken from the Greek word: Dokimazo which means: to test, examine, prove, scrutinise (to see whether a thing is genuine or not), as metals to recognise as genuine after examination, to approve, deem worthy

@Jim: That is heartbreaking!
The man was weeping down the phone and he didn't even care. This is one of the reason I left Pentecostalism at 16 - they cannot answer for the broken hearts that their doctrine leave behind.
Brother, I am Pentecostal and I admit that is wrong. We have caught a lot of mess from televangelists and "faith healers". At times, I am almost ashamed to say I am Pentecostal. I believe we should get back to the basics of Holiness and let the signs follow the believers, not believers following the signs.
Thanks for the comments...this is truly heartbreaking...and unfortunately, very common. I can't remember who it was, but someone who went to the Todd Bentley "revivals" said that the back was filled with paralyzed people in wheelchairs. Some loved ones were begging them to get up and walk and some tried, only to fall to the ground crying..."My faith must not be enough!" This is so sad and so damaging. The Lord Jesus never promised physical healing as part of the gospel.
I agree with Tim in that we all need to get back to the basics...to see God for Who He is and let Him mold us into the image of Christ in holiness...not just look and seek for what God can do for us. What about what we can do for Him?! It's all about Him folks, not us!
