Are my Jehovah's Witness-Friendly Friends Hiding?
Where did my Jehovah's Witness friends go? Are you all wondering where our Jehovah's Witness-friendly friends have gone? They do this so often...they do a "Drive-by" posting and spout off at the mouth but don't listen to what you've actually said and don't engage the arguments.
If you're watching...if you have all the truth as Watchtower claims...why won't it hold up under any scrutiny and why won't you engage my comments/postings from a week or so ago?
Come back! Engage my arguments and let us all know the truth...

I'll bite: what was it you said a week or so ago that has to do with Jehovah's Witnesses or God's Kingdom? Please save us all the time of slogging through old blogs that actually have nothing legitimate to do with Jehovah's Witnesses. Thanks!

Well...didn't think it was too hard to find. Not hard to look back at the beginning of the month and the several posts.
Now...would someone please "bite" and give me their comments on the posts?
Thanks!
Jim
The problem is that Jehovah's Witnesses are only equipped to handle those who are at their weakest. People who have actually studied the scriptures are almost immediately aware of their erroneous interpretation of the Bible. As a former Watchtower Society cult member, I know that the only way to engage them is to talk about the things that the Bible says that contradicts what the Watchtower Society teaches.
You must keep in mind that you're not dealing with another Christian who simply has read the Bible in a different way, you're dealing with a century-old version of dispensationalism that has a life of its own now. The Watchtower Society has taught its members that so many prophesies (that have already been fulfilled) apply to them that it's hard for them to accept that they are just people who happen to have an interest in Christianity. Part of the lure of the Watchtower Society's teachings is that Jehovah's Witnesses are are a special people who have been chosen by God Himself to recognize how right the Watchtower Society is and that no other group of people who have ever or will ever live on this planet will have the same honor.
Basically, the Watchtower Society is appealing to people's vanity and the natural human inclination to believe that their generation is somehow set apart from every other generation of humans.
Don't think that you'll get anything more than 'drive-by' posts designed to do nothing more than attack your character. This is what the Watchtower Society trains its members to do. Don't worry though, there are people reading, some of whom are Jehovah's Witnesses who are experiencing doubts, who can see the difference between reason and blind faith in a group of men in Brooklyn. Those are the people who are really benefiting from these open discussions.
Shawn,
Thanks for the post, very true comments. You are right...it's not up to us to determine who gets the message or not...after all, that's the job of the Holy Spirit. I am certain that God's Word doesn't come back void- it accomplishes all that is purposed by it.
We'll keep putting the truth up about the deity of Christ and other important doctrines and let the Lord do what He will with it.
Thanks again for your comments...especially since you are ex Watchtower- that adds a lot of credibility to what you said.
In Christ
Bro Jim
